Been a while! Long story short, health issues. More on this some other time though, on to the nails!
These are so fun and a lot easier than they look!
for the color block nails I first used some tape to get the nice sharp angles (i love using washi tape for this, because it sticks well and is easy to remove) and painted the tips of my nails. This could have been a lot easier had I already tried the trick that I used for the yellow, though. For the yellow, I just painted the polish on a stamper head, waited a couple of minutes and then carefully peeled it off. This left me with a thin and flexible layer of polish that I cut in an angle and then just applied to my nails where I wanted it with the shiny side down. Bam, instant super sharp angle. I need to play around with this idea some more. The trickiest part was adding the thin green lines, which I did with some acrylic paint. This bit needs some practice, because I would definitely like it to be smoother, but for now it will do.
The lemon nails were even easier, I just picked a couple of images from this water decal sheet (they call them mangoes, but they're definitely lemons) and stuck them on. That's it!
